expanding circles
the ripples so engrossing
in autumns puddle

dark clouds gathering
but my light is brightest now
pushing through hope beams

lifting my chin up
with invisible fingers
the moon meets my eyes

thumpity thump thump
fingers songs and hearts keep time
lifes force beats onward

zip zip cicada
banana leaves clapping time
green growth symphony

bends of sadness scream
riding the rollercoaster
then up to the joyful heights

lifes ride not alone
compassion and empathy
words living our lives

real poetry feels
nothing said just laid out sweet

through burnt amber leaves
i frolicked and meandered
in autumn dreamings

good night dear one
my writing now exhausted
refueling my dreams

drawing a boundary
husbandry happens by chance
i cant swallow it

your dark eyes shone
surpassing the fire light
burning every cell

wrapped in living faith
protected deepest doubting
validating me

lifting moodiness
an unexpected singer

under warm blankets

no lines between us

a beautiful song
continues to circulate

releasing all leaves

for new life to come

friends laughter peels loud
asked is my lipstick still on
from one who wears none

suits hats feathers frocks
and they're off flying colours
diesel damps the track

play the balance trick

on a dusty shelf

long grass bends down low
