half sharp silver moon
smug in its royal blue sky
canberras evening light

dispersing the light
across the salty water
that big golden moon

loud screaming plovers
insistent microwave calls
peaking with full moon

the moon so dreamy
lighting up the reactors
in so much trauma

gentle mellow glow
like a million fireflies
eclipsing the moon

honeyfied and loved
underneath a bright blue sky
moon and sun do glow

lifting my chin up
with invisible fingers
the moon meets my eyes

weighty hope and love
she engaged with my spirit
from the outside in

evenings street light
will never match the wholeness
of the rising moon

someone watching me
drawn to look out my window
shining silver friend

i cant help smiling
neighborhood peeper arrives
lunar cycles high

visitor arrives
the sight is so uplifting
my full silver moon

fat cheeks is smiling
sending beams down on my friends
through dark happy nights

smiling cresent moon
my imagination wild
on all that can be

on the full moons pulses
rides the howling breath
of the lonely lonley dog
