summers coloured coat

summers intense heat
trees lay down band aids of bark
cooling fevered earth

walking home from work
raindrops speckling my glasses
gently misting night

windy summer breeze
cool and warm at the same time
dreams of days gone by

stormy summer clouds
humidity teasing out
that last tiny curl

many flying things
come to me on summers breeze
pondering the moon

summer brings eczema
burning itching red bump dots
like burnt bitumen
